Lots of free interactive online materials - main areas covered are Mathematics, Language, Science, Music, History, Geography, Art and Technology.

Multiple activities arranged by grade, excellent quality graphics and captivating at all stages. Change Maker is a nice non-threatening way to introduce money handling skills, online books are immersive and leads to the question - "why are all educational sites not like this?" Favorite game has to be Vine Time in the playground section - yes it is simplistic - but fun. Lots to see and try at this site.

Core topic is mathematics and/or logic. Nice collection of resources and links, good maths/logic games and numerous fresh ideas that can contribute to a memorable lesson.

Examples of resources included - maths mysteries (walk through detective experience), The Sum news articles (in newspaper format) covering a wide range of maths topics in an interesting way (can get quite deep for some articles - which we feel is a good thing because it give us the option to stretch the lesson if appropriate), the codebreaking section we have never seen before - on any site - this is top quality. This covers the logic of encryption in varying levels of complexity. We would suggest going to Transposition Ciper and scrolling down to the bottom of the page for a really nice idea for a lesson. Most annoying, but fun game has to be memory spin :)

This site may be off topic but we feel it should receive an honorable mention. Crafted website, shows even the most clumsy of us how to create origami figures (have a look and you will see how). It also has some nice interactive activities (origami orientated) and games. Good resource if you wish to boost pupil self-confidence.
